Daffodil International University (DIU) distributed 400 Laptops at free
of cost among the students in the third phase at its continuous process
of Laptop distribution on July 28, 2012.
Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present on the Laptop Distribution Program as the chief guest while Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Founder Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor of Daffodil International University was present there as the special guest. Presided over by Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Registrar the function was also addressed by Professor Dr. S.M. Mahabub-Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, FSIT and Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, FBE.
Addressing as the Chief Guest, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University said, "It was a long cherished dream of the university authority to implement the project 'One Student-One Laptop' with the vision of becoming a Digital University in line with the policy of Digital Bangladesh."
The authority of Daffodil International University has taken a gigantic initiative of "One Student: One Laptop" program which is one step ahead for digital Bangladesh.
