An orientation programme was organized by University of Liberal Arts
Bangladesh (ULAB) to welcome the newly admitted students of Summer 2012
on its Dhanmondi campus on Sunday.
Newly appointed Vice-chancellor of ULAB, Professor Imran Rahman addressed the function as chief guest. Welcoming the students to the university, he stressed that they should venture to make use of their knowledge in the best way possible.
He then formally introduced the heads of departments, who included Dr Mohit Ul Alam, Dr Jude Genilo, Dr Sazzad Hossain and so on.
The orientation consisted of mixed media and video presentations about ULAB̢۪s mission, code of conduct, learning methods, career service centre and other facilities.
There were quiz games throughout the presentations to encourage learning through fun. Later, a student band concert was arranged in honor of the students who just stepped into their tertiary level of education.
