ADMISSION TEST OF THE BACHELOR'S PROGRAM UNDER THE
ACADEMIC SESSION 2011-2012
At present we are undergoing the process of enrolment of students into the First Year of the Bachelors programs of the Session 2011-2012 under the University’s 22 academic departments. The examinations of the admission test will be taken under 8 (eight) Units as mentioned below:
Unit A:
Department of Al-Quran & Islamic Studies
Department of Da'wah & Islamic Studies
Department of Al-Hadith & Islamic Studies
Unit B:
Department of Bangali
Department of English
Department of Arabic Language & Literature
Department of Islamic History & Culture
Unit C:
Department of Economics
Department of Politics & Public Administration
Unit D:
Department of Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology
Department of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering
Department of Applied Nutrition & Food Technology
Unit E:
Department of Applied Physics, Electronics & Communication Engineering
Department of Computer Science & Engineering
Department of Information & Communication Engineering
Unit F:
Department of Mathematics
Department of Statistics
Unit G:
Department of Accounting & Information Systems
Department of Management
Department of Finance & Banking
Unit H:
Department of Law & Muslim Jurisprudence
Department of Al-Fiqh
In order to be eligibility to participate in the examinations of the Admission Test 2011-2012 a student must have passed the HSC/equivalent examination either in the year of 2010 or 2011, and must have met the conditions stated below, depending on the stream he/she comes from:
(a) Science Background:
The student must have secured GPA of at least 3.25 (with Fourth Subject) in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations and the total GPA must be at least 7.0.
The students who have passed O and A levels must have secured grade 'B' in both cases.
(b) Commerce Background:
The student must have secured GPA of at least 3.0 (with Fourth Subject) in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations and the total GPA must be at least 6.5.
The students who have passed O and A levels must have secured grade 'C' in both cases.
(c) Arts Background:
The student must have secured GPA of at least 3.0 (with Fourth Subject) in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations and the total GPA must be at least 6.5.
The students who have passed O and A levels must have secured grade 'C' in both cases.
(d) In the case of the A Unit, an applicant must have met the conditions as stated for students having Arts background, in (c) above.
