ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Requirements for admission to bachelor and master programs at Stamford University vary with the discipline the applicants choose. Requirements for admission into different programs are given below:

For Bachelor Programs

For All Science and Engineering Related Bachelor Programs:

 Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C with science background or equivalent
 Minimum O-Level in 3 subjects and A-Level in 2 subjects with a minimum grade of C from science background

For All Arts, Law, Social Science and Business Related Bachelor Programs:

 Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent
 Minimum O-Level in 3 subjects and A-Level in 2 subjects with a minimum grade of C

For Master Programs:

 Students who wish to get themselves admitted at Stamford's master programs should have at least 6 points without any 3rd class or 7 points with a third class at graduation level to be computed as follows:

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts in English (Preliminary & Final), Master in Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Arts in Theatre Studies (Preliminary & Final):
     Graduates (B. A/ B. Sc/ B. Com/ B. S. S or equivalent)/Masters from any discipline

2. Master of Arts in English (Final)
     B. A (Hons) in English / 4 year B. A. in English

3. M. Sc in Computer Science & Engineering
     B. Sc in Computer Science & Engineering or other graduates

4. Master in Microbiology
     B. Sc (Hons.) in Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Botany, Medical Technology, MBBS and other related degree

5. M. Sc. in Environmental Science
     4 years Bachelor/Honors degree or equvalent in Environmental Science or related subject/Master in other disciplines

6. Master of Laws (LL. M., Final)
     4 years (Hons) or equivalent degree from any recognized university

7. Master of Laws (LL. M., Preliminary & Final)
     2 years LLB (Pass) degree or equivalent degree from any recognized university

8. Master of Arts in Theater Studies
     Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies
